About This Opportunity
JR Enterprise (JRE), in partnership with the VA Healthcare System, is seeking a Board Certified Interventional Radiology (IR) Physician to provide high-quality, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic services to Veterans at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working in a structured, collaborative VA healthcare environment.
As an Interventional Radiology Physician, you will deliver minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, support diagnostic and therapeutic care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure the highest standard of care for Veterans. Services are performed in a modern clinical setting with a consistent weekday schedule

Schedule:
•    Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (CT) 
•    Excludes Federal Holidays

Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions 
•    Provide image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic treatments 
•    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans 
•    Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with VA standards 
•    Adhere to facility Medical Staff By-Laws, rules, and regulations 
•    Ensure patient safety, quality care, and compliance with all federal and VA guidelines

Qualifications:
License:
•    Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia 
•    No history of license suspension, revocation, restriction, or denial 
Board Certification:
•    Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) 
•    Maintain certification with up-to-date continuing education 
Technical Proficiency:
•    Demonstrated expertise in interventional radiology procedures 
•    Proficient in English (spoken and written) 
•    Ability to provide documentation of education, training, and competencies upon request
