Position Overview
JR Enterprise (JRE), in partnership with the Minneapolis VA Health Care System, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician in Internal Medicine or Family Practice to provide high-quality outpatient healthcare services to Veterans at the Hibbing Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Hibbing, MN.
This contract opportunity offers physicians the chance to make a meaningful impact while serving Veterans in a structured, collaborative, and patient-focused VA healthcare environment.
As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive outpatient medical care, evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, coordinate patient treatment plans, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the highest standard of care for Veterans.
Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • Clinic Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM CST
  • Provider Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
  • No call required
  • Closed on all Federal Holidays

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • Active, current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent
  • Experience providing comprehensive primary care services

License Requirements
All physicians assigned under this contract must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine. Physicians with any history of restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily surrendered, or denied licenses will not be considered for this opportunity.
Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient primary care services to veteran patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with VA policies
  • Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary teams
  • Meet all performance standards outlined by the VA

Additional Requirements

  • All continuing education requirements necessary to maintain certifications and licensure must remain current throughout the contract period
  • Must provide health records confirming immunization (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap) and results from a TB test within the past twelve months.
