Locum Anesthesiologist – General & Specialty Opportunities
Location: Bemidji, Minnesota & Seattle-Tacoma, Washington
Position Overview
JR Enterprise (JRE) is partnering with leading healthcare systems to place experienced Anesthesiologists in two exceptional locum tenens assignments: a general anesthesia role in northern Minnesota and a specialized pediatric cardiac role in the Seattle-Tacoma area.
These 1099 contract opportunities offer physicians competitive compensation, flexible scheduling options, strong clinical support, and expedited onboarding to deliver high-quality patient care.
Compensation & Contract
Location 1 (Bemidji, MN): $350/hour | 8-, 12-, and 24-hour guarantees available
Location 2 (Seattle-Tacoma, WA): $400/hour | 10-hour daily guarantee
Position: 1099 Independent Contractor (1–4 weeks/month flexible coverage)
Contract Support: Travel and lodging assistance, expedited credentialing support, and dedicated recruiter guidance provided.
Schedule
Bemidji, MN:
- Monday – Friday coverage (2+ weeks per month)
- Weeknight and weekend call opportunities available
Seattle-Tacoma, WA:
- Monday – Friday, 10-hour day shifts (1–4 weeks per month)
- Daily call opportunities available
- Immediate start upon licensing (Emergency Privileges available in as little as 1 week)
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Specialized experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia (for Seattle-Tacoma location)
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in Minnesota or Washington (or eligible for rapid licensing)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
License Requirements
All physicians assigned under this contract must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of the assignment (MN or WA).
Physicians with a history of a restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily surrendered, or denied medical license will not be considered for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
Bemidji, MN Location:
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for Vascular, TEE (no open-heart), Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, OB/GYN, and Urology.
- Collaborate with and provide clinical oversight for a team of 16 CRNAs.
- Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation.
Seattle-Tacoma, WA Location:
- Manage complex Pediatric & Congenital Cardiac Surgery cases (pump and non-pump), congenital cardiac surgical procedures, and select adjunct cardiac cases (vascular rings, PDA ligations).
- Perform pediatric cardiac anesthesia for catheterization, electrophysiology, cardiac CT/MRI, and non-cardiac cases requiring specialized expertise.
- Utilize Epic EMR in an advanced tertiary care environment.
Clinic & Practice Setting
Bemidji, MN: Join an established, supportive anesthesia department featuring 24/7 CRNA call coverage and a diverse case mix.
Seattle-Tacoma, WA: Work alongside a dedicated pediatric cardiac anesthesia team within a premier tertiary care center.
