Position: Emergency Department Physician (Board Certified/Board Eligible – EM, IM, or FM)

ED Physician Responsibilities:
- Immediate evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of ED patients, including referrals from other VA providers
- Manage the full spectrum of emergency cases from minor injuries to major trauma
- Provide professional guidance to other ED providers and fast-track staff
- Document care in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) in accordance with VA and HIPAA standards
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (IM/FM considered with ?2 years recent ED experience)
- DEA registration
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Skilled in treating patients of all ages
