About Opportunity
JR Enterprise, in partnership with the VA Healthcare System, is seeking Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physicians to provide outpatient primary care to Veterans at the Montevideo Community Based Outpatient Clinic (MCBOC).
You will work as part of a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), collaborating with nurses, physician assistants, and VA staff to deliver care that meets VA standards and quality measures.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care for Veterans in an outpatient setting
• Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
• Manage scheduled appointments (average 12 patients/day) and evaluate walk-in Veterans
• Participate in administrative duties, training, and quality improvement activities
• Document patient care in the VA CPRS / EHR system in compliance with VA and Joint Commission standards
• Maintain infection control and ensure patient safety in accordance with CDC/VA guidelines
• Comply with all mandatory VA training, orientation, and continuing medical education requirements

Qualifications Required
• MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Current, full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or D.C.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) and advanced cardiac life support as required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; VA experience preferred
• Completion of VA-required credentialing and privileging (VetPro)
• Must meet all mandatory VA training requirements (CPRS, HIPAA, Infection Control, CBI, SCVAHCS Orientation, etc.)
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for TB, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and annual Influenza
• DEA certification for the practicing state
• Fluency in English (speak, read, write)
