Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)– High?Impact Role with the VA Healthcare System
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Base Rate: $24.54/hr
Sign?On Bonus: $500
JR Enterprise (JRE), in partnership with the VA Healthcare System, is seeking compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support Veterans at the Palo Alto VA campus. This role offers long?term stability, renewal options, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care with professionalism and empathy
- Support therapeutic, diagnostic, and treatment activities
- Assist with ADLs: bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, toileting
- Obtain and record vital signs and patient measurements
- Maintain a clean, safe, supportive patient care environment
- Report changes in patient condition to the Charge RN
- Uphold all infection control, safety, and privacy protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active California CNA License
- AHA BLS or ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years CNA experience (hospital or long?term care preferred)
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- Strong patient?care and communication skills
