Rate: $295/hour | 5-Year Contract

About the Role
JR Enterprise, in partnership with John Cochran VA Medical Center, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncology Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to Veterans.

In this long-term contractor role, you will:

  • Deliver advanced radiation therapy, including IMRT, SBRT, and stereotactic radiosurgery
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cancer and other conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, physicists, and support staff
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Participate in clinical research and continuing education to remain current in the field
  • Make a meaningful impact while practicing in a state-of-the-art facility with long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation therapy
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in compliance with VA protocols
  • Participate in clinical research and continuing education
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance programs

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology
  • Active, unrestricted Missouri medical license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in radiation oncology
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to compassionate Veteran care

Preferred:

  • Experience in a VA or federal healthcare system
  • Familiarity with advanced radiation therapy techniques
  • Participation in clinical research or academic initiatives
